Mir Ali

Mir Ali is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in distributed systems and platform engineering, currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Google since July 2024. Ali previously held the position of Engineering Manager at Notion, and served as SDM-III (Director) and Associate Director at Warner Bros. Discovery, where responsibilities included leading teams for app launches and enhancing user experience. Notable achievements include improving video playback rates at Hotstar and modernizing the payment system. Ali’s technical expertise is complemented by an educational foundation that includes a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
