Mohammed Alghadeer is a Rhodes scholar and ambassador, currently pursuing a DPhil in condensed matter physics at the University of Oxford. Their research focuses on superconducting quantum devices for quantum information processing. Mohammed completed undergraduate studies in both physics and electrical engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and has gained experience at prestigious institutions, including the University of California, Berkeley, and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. At these institutions, they contributed to advancements in superconducting quantum circuits and investigated loss mechanisms in quantum processors. Currently, Mohammed works as a Quantum Hardware Researcher at Google, focusing on gate calibration and device characterization.
