Mohit Virendra is an accomplished technology leader with substantial experience in product management, currently serving as the Google Cloud Head of Product for Data & AI Strategic Bets since December 2020. Mohit has spearheaded initiatives such as the Open Lakehouse Strategy at Google, focusing on the modernization of data workloads to BigLake and BigQuery. Prior to Google, Mohit held key positions at Oracle as Sr Director of Product Management, where responsibilities included architecting solutions for platform convergence, and at Amazon Web Services, where pioneering work in cellular architecture and foundational load balancing contributed to significant advancements in AWS offerings. Earlier roles included leadership at Vyatta, where strategic direction led to a successful acquisition by AT&T, and at Brocade, where Mohit transitioned the portfolio to cloud solutions and managed various product lifecycles.
