Monica Alegre has extensive experience in digital marketing and user experience design, beginning with a role as Director of Marketing & Special Events at Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley from September 2013 to December 2014. Following this, Monica worked as a Digital Marketing Consultant on a freelance basis from September 2014 to August 2024, and served as a Digital Platforms & Communications Specialist at SEAL from October 2016 to November 2020. A brief tenure at UC Irvine as a UX Researcher/Designer occurred in early 2021. Currently, Monica holds dual roles as UX Writer for Google, focusing on Android and Business Communication since September 2022, and as Senior UX Consultant at HCLTech from April 2024. Monica earned a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction and Design from UC Irvine in 2021.
