Monique E. Liburd

Monique E. Liburd is a legal professional with extensive experience in trademark law and legal counsel roles. Liburd began as a legal intern at the East Bay Community Law Center in 2007 and held various positions including extern to the Honorable Curtis V. Gomez at the U.S. District Court of the Virgin Islands and summer associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. From 2011 to 2012, Liburd served as trademark counsel at Chevron before joining Google as Senior Trademark Counsel in 2012. Additionally, Liburd contributed to the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity as a Fellow from 2021 to 2022. Liburd holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, graduated in 2008.
