Monirul Sharif

Monirul Sharif is the Director of Engineering at Google, leading the Mobile Threat Analysis Platform organization within Android Security and Privacy. They have extensive experience in malware analysis, having previously worked at Damballa, Inc. and the Stanford Research Institute, where they developed advanced malware analysis tools and platforms. Monirul holds a Ph.D. in Computer Security from Georgia Institute of Technology, along with an MEng from Princeton University and both an MSc and BSc from the University of Dhaka. Their work has significantly contributed to enhancing security measures in mobile environments.
