Morrison Shi has extensive experience in the fields of augmented and virtual reality, having held key engineering and management roles at prominent technology companies. As a Senior Software Engineer at Oculus VR from 2012 to 2017, Morrison contributed to the development of the Oculus Rift and Quest platforms, focusing on core rendering and interaction systems. At Electronic Arts, Morrison improved AI and machine learning systems for popular sports games between 2008 and 2012. Following this, Morrison served as a Senior Engineering Program Manager at Google, overseeing ARCore engineering management from 2017 to 2020, and is currently the Director of Technical Program Management for AR/VR at Google, leading advancements in spatial computing and immersive experiences. Additionally, Morrison began a role as an Architect at beat med architecture in July 2024. Morrison holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from EPI - International Multidisciplinary School.
