Mustafa Uysal is a seasoned software engineer with an extensive background in computer science, holding a B.S. from Bilkent University and a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland. Uysal began a professional career as a Software Engineer at Halici Bilgi Islem A.S. from June 1990 to June 1992 and then served as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland from 1992 to 1999. Uysal progressed to HP Labs as a Researcher from September 1999 to May 2010 before joining VMware as a Staff Engineer, where contributions included work on Storage DRS and Storage IO Control within vSphere, focused on simplifying storage management in cloud environments. Since August 2015, Uysal has been employed as a Software Engineer at Google.
