Nandini Kappiah is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience at Google since August 2005, currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering. Kappiah has played a pivotal role in the Android Context team, contributing to the development of various features including location services, contextual APIs, Awareness, Activity recognition, Android Auth and Autofill, as well as Android Safety and Exposure Notifications. Prior to Google, Kappiah worked at Sony Ericsson from 2004 to 2005, starting as a Software Intern. Kappiah received education from North Carolina State University between 2003 and 2005.
