Ni

Ni is a highly experienced research scientist currently serving as a Staff Research Scientist at DeepMind since November 2021. Prior to this role, Ni worked as a Research Scientist at Apple from January 2020 to October 2021 and was the Chief Scientist at SayMosaic Inc. from February 2018 to January 2020, where Ni founded and led a team focused on natural language processing and machine learning. Ni's early career includes a tenure as a Senior Research Scientist at Google from August 2012 to January 2018, contributing to the research and productization of natural language understanding and machine learning technologies, after an internship at Google in 2011. Ni holds a PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University.
