Nicholas Ouassil

Nicholas Ouassil is a highly experienced chemical engineer with a robust academic background, holding a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, an MS from the same institution, and a BS from Columbia University. Professional experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant at Columbia University, an Undergraduate Research Assistant focused on biomass-to-hydrogen conversion, and a Computational Microscopy Engineer at insitro. Nicholas has interned at Google and Calico Life Sciences, where contributions included developing a computational pipeline for 3D reconstruction from 2D views and presenting a multi-modal imaging workflow for neurological target validation, respectively. In addition, leadership roles include Chemical Engineering Graduate Social Chair and Career Development Chair at UC Berkeley, enhancing departmental cohesion and facilitating student-employer relationships.
