Nichole Hansen

Nichole Hansen has extensive experience in natural language processing and data science, having held various roles across multiple organizations. At Decisive Analytics Corporation, Nichole worked as an NLP Scientist from October 2013 to March 2016. Prior to that, Nichole served as a Lecturer and Graduate Part Time Instructor at the University of Colorado at Boulder from September 2006 to April 2012. Nichole then advanced to AI Principal Data Scientist at Anthem, Inc. from September 2019 to August 2021, after working as a Data Science Manager in the Lighthouse NLP Community at KPMG US from October 2018 to September 2019. Notable earlier roles include Linguist Specialist at Rosetta Stone, Speech Development Scientist at Cepstral LLC, and a Computational Linguist at Google, where Nichole is currently employed. Additional experience includes positions as an NLP Developer at Digital Infuzion, Linguistics Annotator for the University of Colorado Linguistics department, and Twitter Data Annotator at the University of Colorado Computer Science Department.
