Nick Bourdakos is an experienced software engineer and designer, currently working at Google since November 2021, after holding a position as a software developer at IBM from May 2018 to November 2021. Early professional experience includes a role as a design contractor at Xlythe LLC from 2013 to January 2015, serving as the chief UX designer on the popular open-source Android application Calculator, which has over 1,000,000 users. Additionally, Nick contributed to various projects including a unit converter and Android Wear watch faces, and developed an open-source SMS/MMS library for easier messaging integration in Android. Educationally, Nick attended Orange High School, followed by the University of Pittsburgh where a degree in Computer Engineering was obtained, and completed an Android Developer Nanodegree at Udacity.
