Nicola Higgins has extensive experience in telecommunications and technical support, beginning with a role as a Telecom Engineer at Compaq, where responsibilities included launching IVR callflows for the European market and maintaining contact center systems. Following that, Nicola served as a Telecom Consultant at HP, providing telephony solutions and implementing disaster recovery plans for Managed Services clients in the EMEA region. After a stint as a System Administrator at NSC, Nicola transitioned to Google, where roles spanned from Manager of Customer Support Applications to EMEA Telecom Tech Lead and currently Regional Lead EMEA in Technical Support, focusing on global processes, system improvements, and voice infrastructure development. Nicola holds a B.Sc. in Applied Physics & Electronics from the University of Galway.
