Nicola Salvo

Nicola Salvo is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud engineering and application migration. Currently serving as a Customer Engineer at Google since November 2020, Nicola previously held the position of Chief Technologist at Cloudreach, where efforts focused on enhancing the Application/Data Centre Migration practice and providing thought leadership on cloud migration to executives and public audiences. Additional roles at Cloudreach included Cloud Leader, overseeing a team to implement Amazon-based solutions, and System Engineer, where Nicola acted as Tech Lead on various transformation projects, gaining significant expertise in cloud technologies including Google Apps and Amazon AWS. Prior experiences include research engineering at the IT-Innovation Centre at the University of Southampton and a developer role at Synthema. Nicola holds an MSc in Grid Computing from Cranfield University and a Laurea Specialistica in Ingegneria Informatica from Università di Pisa.
