Nigel Armstrong has a diverse background in software engineering and controls engineering, with significant experience at prominent companies. Starting as a Theatre Technician at Sea World Parks and Entertainment in 2013, Nigel later expanded into the tech industry, working as a Delivery Driver at Grand China Bistro. At comma.ai, Nigel held the position of OpenPilot Lead Engineer before moving to Swisslog as a Controls Engineer from May 2016 to January 2019, where development of ladder logic for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and 3D emulation models were key responsibilities.
