Nihar Jindal

Nihar Jindal is a seasoned wireless technologist and IEEE Fellow with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Hardware Engineer at Google, Nihar leads a team focused on Wi-Fi and UWB technology for Google Pixel. They have contributed to significant advancements in wireless standards, particularly IEEE 802.11, and have been awarded multiple honors, including three IEEE best paper awards. Nihar previously held a faculty position at the University of Minnesota, where they oversaw a research lab and published over 30 scholarly articles. They earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a BS from UC Berkeley.
