Counsel, Global Data Disclosure Strategy

Nima Binara is currently a Counsel at Google, focusing on Global Data Disclosure Strategy. Previously, Nima served as Counsel for the Senate Judiciary Committee under Senator Patrick Leahy and as an Attorney-Advisor in the National Security Division at the U.S. Department of Justice, where they represented the Government in classified matters. Nima also held positions such as Senior Counsel at Intelsat and Counsel to the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board. Nima's academic background includes pursuing a J.D. at Columbia Law School, an LL.M. in Public International Law from The London School of Economics, and a degree in Government from Dartmouth College.
