Ning Ma possesses extensive experience in data science and software engineering, having held key roles at prominent companies. At Microsoft, Ning Ma served as a Data Scientist Intern on the Azure Core Data Science Team, focusing on device status prediction. Subsequently, as a Senior Data & Applied Scientist in the Bing Multimedia Search division, Ning Ma contributed to projects enhancing search quality through core metric design, deep learning feature development, and image ranker deployment. Earlier, as a Data & Applied Scientist, efforts concentrated on improving image search quality using advanced techniques in computer vision and natural language processing. Currently, Ning Ma is a Software Engineer at Google, working on projects in Google Ads Quality to enhance user engagement with ads through deep learning methods. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Intelligent Systems and Robotics and a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of California San Diego, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
