Ning Gao

Ning Gao has extensive experience in research and development, primarily focused on machine learning and robotics. A summer internship at Daimler AG in 2015 involved project management within the powertrain group. Following this, a research assistant role at Karlsruhe Institute für Technologie (KIT) in 2017-2018 included programming in C++ and Matlab for image recognition and joint tracking. At Robert Bosch GmbH, positions of working student and intern allowed for further development of driver behavior analysis and establishment of tools for autonomous driving applications. Ning Gao contributed as a master thesis student at Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence (BCAI), focusing on benchmarking deep learning algorithms, and is currently pursuing a PhD at KIT, with research centered on robust estimation and meta-learning in robotics. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering from Tongji University, a Master’s in Computer Science and Mechatronics, and ongoing PhD studies at KIT. Current employment at Google as a Machine Learning Engineer complements the rich background in technological advancements in engineering and artificial intelligence.
