Ning Liao is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and management. From September 2019 to April 2022, Ning served as Senior Engineering Manager at Google, overseeing the GPU/TPU and inference/training platform on GKE for the GKE AI Platform. Prior to this role, Ning held multiple positions at Amazon Web Services from March 2016 to September 2019, including Engineering Manager and Software Development Manager. Ning's earlier experience includes serving as Principal SDE/Tech Lead at Hitachi Data Systems, focusing on management software for converged infrastructure, as well as working as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft on Xbox Live Services and Cloud Sync. Ning began a career in academia as a Research Associate and Teaching Assistant at Arizona State University, contributing to research projects and teaching software engineering courses. Ning holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Wuhan University.
