Nitin Jain

Nitin Jain is a highly experienced data scientist currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Google since July 2024, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency within Google's Ad business through causal inference and machine learning. Prior to this role, Nitin held positions at Cruise as a Senior Data Scientist II, managing and scaling the self-driving robotaxi fleet across multiple countries, and at Google from 2018 to 2023, leading projects aimed at optimizing operations for Google Cloud customers. Nitin's earlier experience includes a data scientist role at Nike, where demand forecasting for emerging markets was a key responsibility, and a position at Aetna, modeling fraud and abuse in medical claims. Nitin holds a Master's degree in Computational Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur.
