Olaf Sinram is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in geospatial technology and software development. Beginning as a Research Scientist at the Technical University of Berlin from November 2000 to April 2004, Olaf focused on photogrammetric evaluation of electron microscope images. From 2004 to 2008, Olaf served as a Software Engineer at Leica Geosystems, where responsibilities included leading the development of the Leica FPES flight planning software. Subsequently, Olaf worked at ERDAS Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2008 to October 2010, before joining Google in March 2013. During tenure at Google, Olaf held various roles as a Software Engineer, contributing to projects such as Google Earth and Family Link on Android, and has been a Senior Software Engineer since November 2020, specializing in Google Earth and Flutter.
