Omar Hussain

Omar Hussain has a diverse background in system administration and software testing, with experience at reputable companies. From May 2018 to October 2021, Omar served as a Junior System Administrator at AutoZone, focusing on various Linux platforms, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions 5 and 6. Prior to that, Omar worked as a Linux Administrator at XO Communications from February 2016 to February 2018, where responsibilities included setting up and configuring Red Hat Satellite and Kickstart Servers, as well as managing web server installations and updates. Currently, Omar is a Software Test Engineer at Google, beginning in August 2021. Omar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician from CUNY New York City College of Technology, earned from 2013 to 2018, and a high school diploma from New Utrecht High School, obtained in 2012.
