Omar Riaz

Omar Riaz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic partnerships and management within the technology and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as a Strategic Partnerships leader at Google since April 2022, Omar previously held significant roles at HMD Global, including General Manager for North & West Europe and for UK & Ireland, achieving impressive growth in operating profits and revenues. Prior experience includes General Manager at Microsoft Mobile, where responsibilities encompassed a $500 million annual business, and earlier roles at Nokia, Emitac Mobile Solutions, and Altitude Software, showcasing a strong track record in sales, channel optimization, and strategic program development across diverse markets in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Omar Riaz is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
