Ondrej Budac

Ondrej Budac is a Senior Software Engineer at Google, where they specialize in petabyte-scale logs processing and metric computation pipelines. With a PhD in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, Ondrej has developed and analyzed numerical algorithms for fluid flow in porous media. Their experience includes a role as a Math lecturer for the Slovak Committee of Mathematical Olympiad and an internship at the Oxford center for nonlinear PDE, where they conducted simulations on kinetic mean-field equations. Previously, Ondrej earned Master’s degrees in Mathematics from both Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave.
