Paul Germano

Paul Germano is a Senior Staff Network Engineer at Google, where they focus on designing and integrating innovative network and protocol architectures to efficiently scale machine network interconnects within and between data centers. With 25 years in the telecommunications and data communications industries, their experience includes network operations, engineering, and architecture, as well as protocol design and testing for various providers and vendors. Prior to joining Google, Paul held roles at several companies, including Yipes Communications and CRL Network Services, where they contributed significantly to network engineering and management. Paul earned a high school diploma from The Urban School of San Francisco in 1990.
