Paul Mullen has extensive experience in systems administration and site reliability engineering, beginning with a role as Systems Administrator at PJ Hegarty & Sons from May 2002 to February 2005. Following this, Paul worked as a Unix Systems Administrator at Jinny Software (February 2005 - December 2006) and HEAnet Limited (December 2006 - July 2010). From May 2018 to April 2021, Paul held various engineering positions at Google, including Staff Site Reliability Engineer, Senior Network Engineer, and Senior Site Reliability Engineer. Paul transitioned to a production engineering role at Facebook from July 2020 to April 2021 and has remained with Google as a Staff Site Reliability Engineer since April 2021. Paul holds a BSc in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics from University College Dublin, completed in 2002.
