Paulo Gotardo possesses extensive academic and industry experience in the field of informatics. With a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Informatics from Universidade Federal do Paraná, Paulo began a career as a Lecturer at the same institution in 2003. A progression through various roles at Disney Research from 2014 to 2016 included Associate Research Scientist, Postdoctoral Researcher, Research Scientist, and Senior Research Scientist. Paulo contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University from 2008 to 2010 and later served as Professeur Associé in the Dept. Génie Électrique et de Génie Informatique at Université Laval from 2015 to 2018. Currently, Paulo holds the position of Staff Research Software Engineer at Google, starting in February 2023.
