Payne Edington is an accomplished engineering professional with a strong background in data center operations and management. Experience includes roles at Amazon Web Services as an Engineering Operations Technician, and at Google as a Data Center Facilities Technician and later as a Data Center Plant Engineer and Operations Specialist - Controls Lead, where responsibilities encompassed subject matter expertise in controls, training junior technicians, and coordinating operational plans across multiple teams. Previous roles also include Director of Information Technology at The Potomack Company, where Payne implemented automation strategies that significantly reduced costs and improved web traffic, as well as serving as Chief Operating Officer, managing a substantial budget and enhancing business operations.
