Peng Chen

Peng Chen is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in software development and research. Holding a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Calgary, along with a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Peng's academic achievements include a GPA of 3.7 and 3.8, respectively. As a Research Assistant at the University of Calgary, Peng contributed to the development of tone mapping algorithms for high dynamic range image presentations. At Amazon Web Services, Peng served as a Senior Software Development Engineer, leading the implementation of key features for the Simple Queue Service, including Server-Side Encryption and FIFO queue, while also focusing on performance tuning to enhance cost efficiency and reduce latency. Currently, Peng holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Google since August 2022.
