Pengfei He

Pengfei Pengfei is a highly accomplished researcher with extensive experience in data science and cybersecurity. Currently a Student Researcher at the MSU Data Science & Engineering Lab and Google, Pengfei focuses on red teaming for cybersecurity problems using large language models. Previous roles include a Visiting Research Student at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, where research centered on backdoor attacks and optimal transport, and various positions including an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon and a Research Intern at Alibaba Group. Pengfei holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics and Computer Science from Michigan State University, along with a Master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Statistics from Nankai University, achieving a 4.0 GPA in graduate studies.
