Persio Gontijo

Persio Gontijo possesses extensive experience in network engineering, project management, and cloud solutions across various prestigious organizations. Starting a career as a Network Engineer at True Digital Security from July 2001 to December 2005, Gontijo then advanced to Project Manager at CPD Technology until May 2011 and served as Network & Security Executive at Itau BBA, overseeing significant operations across multiple countries. Between January 2014 and December 2019, Gontijo was Information Technology Executive at Itaú Unibanco, leading network and collaboration engineering for a vast retail and corporate network. Following a brief tenure as a Solutions Architect Executive at Amazon Web Services in early 2020, Gontijo joined Google Cloud in October 2020, ultimately taking on the role of Head of Cloud Platforms & Infra for Latin America. Educational qualifications include a Technical degree from Escola Técnica de Eletrônica, a Bachelor from Universidade FUMEC, a Post Graduation from Fundação Dom Cabral, and an Executive Course from Harvard Business School.
