Pete Barrell is currently a Strategic Negotiator in Global Infrastructure at Google, where they focus on data center strategy and acquisition. With over 14 years of experience in real estate, Pete has worked across 18+ cities throughout the APAC region. Previously, as Senior Director of Real Estate at WeWork, they led market entry strategies and negotiated numerous deals to facilitate rapid expansion. Pete also served as a Senior Manager at JLL, successfully brokering over 40 office leasing deals. They hold a Master of Science in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language from Ocean University of China.
