Peter Ang

Cellular Wireless Systems Architect

Peter Ang is a technical expert specializing in improving energy efficiency for cellular modems, particularly in 5G-NR systems. With over 20 years of experience in wireless systems R&D, they have led significant design and development initiatives, contributing to the commercialization of numerous innovations, including over 370 US patents. Peter has held various key positions at Qualcomm, culminating in their role as Principal Engineer focusing on 5G energy efficiency, before joining Google as a Cellular Wireless Systems Architect. Peter completed a Bachelor of Applied Science at the University of Waterloo and a Master of Science at Stanford University.
