Peter Chen

Peter Chen, PhD, has extensive experience in materials science and organic chemistry, having worked with prominent organizations such as Google, DuPont, and Roche. At DuPont from 2016 to 2020, Peter served as an RD Chemist, leading the development of adhesives for major clients including Apple, Tesla, and Dell. Previously, as a Scientist at ETH Zurich from 2014 to 2016, Peter focused on polymer materials development and co-founded a startup while holding patents for key products. Peter's academic background includes a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Groningen, where significant contributions included six published papers, resulting in over 300 citations, under the guidance of a Nobel Prize-winning advisor. Current responsibilities at Google involve leading the roadmap for adhesive materials in the smartphone and tablet business unit.
