Peter Liu

Peter Liu has extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in camera and multimedia systems. At Qualcomm, Peter worked as a software engineer, maintaining the camera ISP Android userspace driver and leading the commercialization team for the Snapdragon 820. Transitioning to Google, Peter currently serves as a staff software engineer and manager, leading a group focused on camera ISP backend software and system performance. Before this role, Peter contributed to Android camera system software and frameworks. Prior experience includes positions at Apple, where Peter led machine learning frameworks for autonomous systems, and a brief internship at IBM focusing on systems analysis and data migration. Peter holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Engineering, alongside a deep learning nanodegree from Udacity.
