Peter Saathoff-Harshfield is an experienced accessibility professional with a robust background in technology and education. Currently serving as an Accessibility Analyst at Google since April 2020, Peter coordinates accessibility initiatives across Google Search, employing both automated and manual testing methods while managing timelines, training engineers, and providing technical expertise. Prior experience includes roles as an Accessibility Test Engineer at Tech Mahindra for Google, an Information Technology Specialist at the Library of Congress, and an Assistant Instructor at the Bay Area Discovery Museum. Peter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science as well as Music from Lewis and Clark College, and also attended Whittier College and Marin School of the Arts, where Peter focused on jazz trombone.
