Petri Kanerva

Petri Kanerva is an experienced technology leader specializing in digital transformation and public cloud technologies, currently serving as the Industry Lead for Public Sector Finland at Google since September 2020. In this role, Petri supports public sector organizations in their digital journeys and conceptualized the "Cloud Worker" initiative. Prior to Google, Petri held various positions at Amazon Web Services from August 2016 to September 2020, delivering cloud solutions to enterprises across Finland and the Baltics, receiving recognition as a Worldwide AWS Prospecting Day winner in 2018. Petri’s earlier career at Oracle involved enhancing mid-size enterprises’ customer experience through cloud applications, alongside roles focused on web technologies and presales solutions. Petri began a career in software engineering at Datawell Oy and Itella’s ICT Services, emphasizing architecture design and system development. Petri holds a Master of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Helsinki.
