Phil Crone

Phil Crone is a Senior Software Engineer at Google, working on Vertex AI Modeling & Quality. They previously held various roles, including Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Ancestry, and a PhD student and Teaching Assistant at Stanford University, where they specialized in linguistics. Phil's research involved developing models of linguistic interactions and analyzing data through advanced statistical methods. They also contributed to improving spoken dialogue systems as a Research Assistant at the Center for Computational Learning Systems and assisted with contracts and accounting at The Wylie Agency. Phil earned a B.A. in Philosophy and Linguistics from Columbia University, and is currently pursuing further education at the University of Colorado Boulder.
