Philip Nelson is a technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and entrepreneurship. A co-founder of Verity, Philip served as CTO and VP of Engineering from August 1987 to July 1997, focusing on enterprise search solutions. After holding various roles including CTO at Spark Networks and Entrepreneur in Residence at Accel, Philip became the CEO of Anteros until its acquisition by Google in November 2008, where Philip transitioned to oversee software engineering at Google Research. Other notable positions held include VP Software Consultant at Complete Genomics and CTO roles at Impresse and TheFind.com. Philip's early career included work as a Software Engineer at the Biomechanics Lab at Brigham & Women's Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School.
