Pidong Wang

Pidong Wang holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore, where previous roles included Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant focused on Natural Language Processing (NLP). With extensive experience in NLP, Wang served as Owner & Manager of NLP Consultant and significantly contributed to chat message translation systems and big data analysis at Machine Zone Inc. At Google, Wang's roles evolved from Senior ML Engineer to Staff ML Engineer and Manager in the Google Translate team, overseeing projects related to large language models (LLMs), evaluation, localization, and translation system improvements. Wang’s expertise encompasses building and enhancing machine translation systems across various languages and platforms.
