Poonam Chawla

Poonam Chawla is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Google since August 2016, Poonam previously held the position of Software Engineer, contributing significantly to the MATLAB Enterprise Deployment team at The MathWorks from March 2011 to August 2016. In this role, Poonam focused on the MATLAB Production Server, addressing key challenges related to scalability and reliability in client-server environments. Prior experience includes working as a System Engineer at Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd. from October 2006 to December 2008, where Poonam led the design and maintenance of a network-based inventory database for Vodafone AG & Co. Poonam Chawla holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Delaware.
