Prabhat Singh

Prabhat Singh is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in data science, content policy, and journalism. Currently serving in the GenAI/LLM Safety role at Google since November 2024, Prabhat previously worked as a Content Policy Manager at Meta, focusing on Facebook and Instagram content policies. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Data Scientist for the Chicago Police Department, where data analysis drove impactful outcomes in criminal justice, and as a Mayoral Fellow in Chicago, contributing to key urban transportation projects. Prabhat has also worked as a freelance journalist for leading Indian publications and held an expert consulting role in the Finance Department of Andhra Pradesh. Educational credentials include a Graduate degree in Public Policy and Data Analytics from the Harris School at the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
