Prasad S.

Prasad S. is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in operations and commodity management across leading technology companies. Currently serving as Senior Director of Operations at Google Inc. since 2011, Prasad is a key member of the executive team, overseeing Data Center infrastructure capacity for Google Cloud and Google Apps. Previous roles include Senior Director of Operations at Cisco Systems, where Prasad managed significant annual spend in Global Supplier Management, and Vice President of Marketing at Lexra, focused on a strategic transition to a fabless semiconductor model. With a strong foundation in product marketing and hardware management, Prasad has also held leadership positions at Riverstone Networks, Infineon Technologies, Sun Microsystems, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Digital Equipment Corporation. Prasad holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and advanced degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
