Prof. Dr. Igor Podebrad

Prof. Dr. Igor Podebrad currently serves as the Director of the Office of the CISO at Google Cloud since September 2022. Prior to this role, Prof. Dr. Podebrad held various positions at Commerzbank AG from October 1997 to September 2022, culminating in the role of Group CISO and Divisional Board Member focusing on Cyber Risk and Information Security. Prof. Dr. Podebrad's educational background includes a doctorate in medical care logistics research from Freie Universität Berlin and a diploma in economics from Universität Passau, along with honorary professorship and postdoctoral research in IT Forensic Cyber Crime and security in computer architecture, respectively.
