Pulasthi Wickramasinghe is a senior software engineer at Google, focused on the GKE AI/ML team since August 2025. Prior experience includes a significant role at Microsoft as a research intern within the AI Supercomputing group, and contributions to scheduler development for AI training job management in Azure at Microsoft. Pulasthi has also worked at The OpenNMS Group as a GSoC intern, with a project involving performance data storage. Earlier positions include a software engineer at WSO2, where responsibilities encompassed development for the WSO2 Governance Registry, and serving as a PhD candidate and research assistant at Indiana University, contributing to the Twister2 project. Pulasthi holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
