Pushkarini Agharkar

Pushkarini Agharkar is a Staff Software Engineer at Google, where they leverage graph mining and machine learning techniques to automate the detection of bad advertisers. Previously, they worked as a Research Software Engineer on the Sensing & Perception team at Uber, focusing on models for phone sensor inference. Pushkarini undertook a fellowship at Insight Data Science, creating a smart trip planner for San Francisco, and conducted graduate research on robotic algorithms at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Their early experiences included a summer internship at Robert Bosch LLC and a research assistant position at Ecole Polytechnique. Pushkarini holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
