Qian An

Qian An is a seasoned professional in AI safety, currently serving as a Manager at Google, where they focus on content classification and machine learning to combat abuse online. Prior to this role, Qian held various positions at Google, including Manager and Analyst in Applied Machine Learning, and contributed significantly to content classification solutions for numerous Google products. They previously worked as a Data Scientist at eHarmony and were a research assistant at the University of Southern California, where they earned a Ph.D. in Operations Research with a focus on transportation. Qian also has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Tsinghua University.
