Qian Qiao is a highly skilled antenna design engineer with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Qian began career at ZTE Corporation as an engineer, focusing on mobile phone baseband circuitry and ESD testing. As a research assistant at the University of Mississippi and Tsinghua University, Qian designed various innovative antennas, including water-embedded patch antennas and capacitively-loaded cavity backed slot antennas. Qian progressed to roles such as RF Design Engineer at Galtronics Corporation Ltd. and Senior Antenna Engineer at Sonos, Inc., before joining Facebook as an Antenna Engineer. Currently, Qian serves as an Antenna Design Engineer at Google. Qian holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering and both Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Microwave Theory and Antenna Design with high academic honors from Northwestern Polytechnical University and Tsinghua University.
